1. Introduction
Welcome to CrossCourt. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our application and services.
By accessing or using CrossCourt, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
CrossCourt is a platform that provides padel-related services, including:
- Display of upcoming and past match details
- Court and booking information
- Club and player data sourced from third-party platforms (including Playtomic)
- Player and match data sourced from third-party platforms (including Playtomic)
- Match streaming functionality initiated by users
Note: CrossCourt does not process payments or handle bookings directly.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, users must create an account using an email address and/or mobile number.
You agree to provide accurate information, maintain confidentiality, and notify of unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Third-Party Services
CrossCourt integrates with platforms including Playtomic. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data, service interruptions, or the privacy practices.
5. Match Streaming & Recording
Users must obtain explicit consent from all participants before streaming. CrossCourt does not verify consent and is not responsible for a user's failure to obtain it.
By using the streaming feature, you confirm that all participants accept responsibility for being recorded.
6. Video & Content Policy
Users may only use recordings for personal viewing, analysis, or permitted sharing. Prohibited activities include:
- Recording without consent
- Illegal content
- Unauthorized commercial use
We may remove content or suspend accounts.
7. Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with systems.
8. Intellectual Property
All content and technology belong to CrossCourt and may not be copied without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Services are provided "as is". We are not liable for inaccurate data (including Playtomic data), downtime, or user-generated content.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
13. Consent to Recording
By using streaming, you confirm all participants consent and accept responsibility for obtaining such consent.
